CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN JEWELRY MAKING

Randy’s Jewelry started in 1979 in the basement of Randy and Ruth Hudson’s home
as a trade shop.
A trade shop being a jeweler who does work for other retail jewelry stores.

The Hudson’s opened their own retail store on Jan. 18th 1981
in the historic Westhoff Mercantile building on Main Street in downtown
O'Fallon, Missouri.
Randy Hudson, President and Jeweler; works on site with Ruth does the bookkeeping
at home.

In August 1987, Nick Poetz and Randy Hudson opened Lincoln County Jewelry as
partners.
Randy prides himself on having great prices on high quality jewelry thus our
slogan
“WE MAKE QUALITY AFFORDABLE “
Randy apprenticed under a master jeweler for
four years and after nine years at the bench
he started doing work for other retail stores and then moved his business to
O’Fallon.
Randy’s Jewelry is unique because they:
Manufacture a large portion of their inventory.
They teach their
customers how to buy diamonds
so that the customer can compare prices properly.
In other words if you shop the same quality Randy’s has the best price.
Have
Genuine stones of almost every variety including but not limited to
Alexandrite, Precious Topaz from golden yellow to orange (very rare),
Sapphires in various shades of blue, pink, yellow, purple and very rare
orange
and Tourmaline in almost every color including watermelon.

In 1992 they moved to their current location at 309 South Main Street.

Randy Hudson, Jim Blechle, Gary Williams, and Roger Taylor
moving the safe down the street to the new location.

Randy’s Jewelry is small enough to give you the personal service that only small
stores can,
yet we have great buying power and a record of always paying on time.
“WE MAKE
QUALITY AFFORDABLE “

Here is a picture of our Grand Opening at our new and present location.
People were lined up to get in our first morning.

Krystal (front), Katie, Sharon, Ryan and Bob
All
together Randy's Jewelry
jewelers have over 63 years experience at the bench.
When it comes to customer service, our sales staff
is second to none.
(left) We have our hawkers for the sale. L t0 R Kayla, Shelby and Krystall.
(right) Our
customers had a great time digging in the sand for gemstones. We gave away
thousands of
dollars worth of gems to say thanks for supporting us for 25 years.
Here are some people who know the value of the free gemstones we gave away.
Some of the crowd spent the night to get first crack at the gems.
Saturday morning just as it was getting light we had about thirty five people in
line in a
driving rainstorm. This dedication made Randy feel like he should buy everyone
in line
breakfast and coffee that morning
A little different climate earlier in the week afforded some fun tail-gating by
eager recipients
of gems. We had to monitor the lines each morning so that more than fifty people
were
not in line that was the planned total of gems to be given away. Randy's
actually
added 25 more gemstones on Friday and 50 more on Saturday because of the
overwhelming response to our 25th anniversary beach party and sale.
Just enjoying the rays waiting for 9AM and the gemstone give-a-way.
Our staff waiting on customers in their beach party uniforms and leis.
We waited
on
almost 1000 people in just six days! Way to go staff!
